A book of poems for public worship or personal reflection. Like electricity, Holy Scripture, which illuminates and enables us, also shocks when it challenges our values, lifestyles and unjust systems. Written as a follow-up to The Electric Gospel, the poems in Electric Bible are meant to be like plugs or switches, giving us access to the energy locked up in the familiar words of scripture.
