The Parable of the Good Samaritan is perhaps the most touching parable that Jesus ever taught. The story begins with an expert in the law asking, "Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?" (Luke 10:25, NIV). Jesus answers with a story about robbers, a Rabbi, a Levite and a man who was making his way from Jerusalem to Jericho.
